The ASKR Riser Cable T100 Left Angle Gen 5 (10 cm PCIe 5.0 x16) and the Reverse Airflow Adapter Plate for RTX 5080/5090 FE in the Fractal Terra are an awesome combo for small form factor builds.
In my Terra, the fit is spot on. The 10 cm riser is the perfect length for a clean, SFF-optimized route with no awkward slack, and it runs flawlessly at PCIe Gen 5 speeds. Signal integrity and shielding are excellent; zero issues with stability so far, even under load.
The real magic, though, comes from the Reverse Airflow Adapter Plate. Flipping the GPU so it exhausts hot air out of the case instead of feeding it back toward the CPU cooler made a huge difference. My overall temps dropped by about 10°C, and the motherboard and surrounding components now stay noticeably cooler. It also keeps heat away from my Noctua CPU cooler, which helps the whole system run quieter and more efficiently.
Installation of the plate did take a bit of finesse, since the weight of the card sits directly on the base plate instead of a traditional riser platform, you need to be a little patient lining everything up. But once it’s in, the setup is solid and looks super clean.
